Oregon Wildfires 2020

We at Consumers Power have grieved as we watched unprecedented wildfires ravage our beautiful state. We not only work here, we live here, and care deeply about our community.  Our thoughts are with our members, their families and the communities who have suffered terrible losses during this catastrophic event.

Days before the Labor Day windstorm, our team members worked hard to prepare for the storm and extreme fire danger. Working hard did not stop with preparing for the extreme weather, but also continued in the dedication of CPI and other state electric cooperatives in getting power restored in those devastated areas.

We are thankful to our employees and our neighboring electric cooperatives for their quick and safe work, and cooperation. We continue to work with our municipal partners and local community leaders to rebuild our communities.
