CPI to begin new undergrounding project in Detroit

CPI contractors will begin a long-awaited project to place overhead power lines underground in the Detroit area. The project is scheduled to begin Tuesday, September 7 and include the streets of Boulder, Butte and Tumble. We expect the project to last 6-8 weeks and efforts will be made to minimize impacts to members as much as possible. This is phase one of a multi-phase project to mitigate against the dangers of wildfires.
