February Snow Storm

A special thank you to all of the CPI employees and neighboring utilities that sent their crews to help restore power to our members. It was an extraordinary effort with crews working for 36+ hours straight, battling winds, rain, and a large amount of snow for this area.

It started Sunday night with heavy wet snow accumulating on the trees and branches adding enough additional weight to cause both to break and fall on power lines and poles. This storm affected over 2,200 homes mostly in the Harrisburg, Brownsville, Lebanon, Sweet Home and Detroit areas.

Once our crews had restored power in our service territory they were sent to help our southern utility neighbors who were hit harder than us. They will continue to help those in the Eugene and surrounding areas where some are expected to be without power for 1 to 2 weeks.
